I have been involved with the graphics industry in one form or another for over 30 years. Much of my experience is as a drafter and technical illustrator. My background includes sign painting, desktop publishing, and technical writing of manuals and procedures, including the illustrations for the manuals. With the advent of the Internet, my interest has turned to technical communication and Web design.
I have modernized my skills by enrolling at Rochester Institute of Technology. I have Certifications in Technical Writing and in Computer Graphics. I also have received a diploma in Applied Arts and Science in Technical and Graphic Communication Design from RIT. I am a member of the HTML Writers Guild and the Society for Technical Communication.
My interests include cross-country skiing, finescale modeling, reading, and using computers. I have been a Trekker and Star Wars fan since the first episodes. I have been a charter member of the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group Museum since 1994.
